Fire damaged home in Ft. Myers, Florida

Fires can be very devastating and in this case it was as devastating as possible. Many times we are able to clean walls of soot and smoke but this home was approved by the insurance adjuster to be gutted to assure the structural integrity of the home. After removing all the damaged drywall and ceiling we covered it with a odor blocker. It is a white sealant that keeps any odor that might have been missed during the cleanup. As seen in the after picture there is still a lot of work to do but the most important part of reconstruction is making sure the smoke odor does not return after it is finished.
